An Introduction to Flyfishing is a FREE Quarkshow learning event in Lakewood, Colorado on Thursday, March 5th at 6:00pm at the Belmar Library meeting room. The 45-minute presentation allows time for questions at the end and will cover topics such as:
- how flyfishing is different than spin casting
- essential gear for flyfishing
- trout behavior and where to find the fish
- tips for getting started
- flyfishing resources
Join Natalie Carpenter as she shares her experiences fishing for 30 years in the mountains of southwest Colorado, catching wild cutthroat trout in tiny creeks, and trips to gold-medal waters on large rivers. Her information is intended to inspire you to learn to flyfish and understand the essential gear needed to get started.
