This 4.1 mile hike requires only 282 ft of climb, but is sometimes rough rocky underfoot. The trail, marked by rock pile cairns includes a pleasant mix of stacked rock canyons, ponds, and meadow. Expect temps around 60 with ample sun and limited shade. Also bring extra water, personal safety needs, and snacks for the trail and/or after-hike picnic. No dogs are allowed on this trail. There is a $10 entrance fee per vehicle. Car pools are encouraged.
