Dowdy Ranch, Tie down tr & more 12 miles, >=2800 elev. gain

Dowdy Ranch is remote part/entrance of Henry Coe park. Dowdy Ranch Entrance will be reopen May 4th after long interruption. In 70s Kaiser and Aetna ( they were together this time) built road to here and I still don't understand what was purpose of that.
Now Dowdy Ranch visitor center is pretty solid building with very good exposition. We meet near Dowdy Ranch Visitor Center.
Weather forecast looks very good for this hike <70F, I'll change hike location if it starts showing > 80F.
It is very long drive , but it is absolutely worth if you like feeling of remoteness and solitude . Hope we'll see big variety of wildflowers.
Our route: Mack's Corral tr -> North Fork tr -> Tie Down tr ( we'll check if we can reach Tie Down peak ) -> Yellowjacket tr -> Tie Down tr ( our first 2 miles uphill) -> Kaiser Aetna rd -> lunch on South Fork Orestimba creek -> Kaiser Aetna rd -> Scherrer tr ( our second 1.5 miles uphill) -> Centers Flat rd -> Herman's Pond tr -> Kaiser Aetna rd back to cars
Our pace 2.5-2.8 miles per hour, so please don't join this hike in case you want to hike faster or slower. We wait for each hiker at trail intersection and try to maintain visible distance between hikers.
Hike's length and elevation gain is based on Alltrails route estimate. Real one can be longer 1-2 miles.
It is good to have >2.5L water, sturdy waterproof hiking shoes , layers clothes , and lunch food.
It is not good idea to join the hike if you don't plan to complete full route.
