El Corte Madera - Teague Hill, 10.5 miles. 1800 ft elev. gain ,
Details
We meet at El Corte de Madera Creek Preserve Parking Area. It is large parking but carpool as usual is recommended.
It will be primary out and back hike with small loop inside of Teague hill. Teague Hill used to be secret Woodside town park specially designed for Woodside millionaires. Now Alltrails shows each available trail there, even trails that cross backyards of local mansions.
We'll take only official trails there.
Our route is simple: El Corte Madera: Sierra Moreno tr -> Molder tr (cross Hwy 35) -> Skyline tr ( about 4 miles) -> loop inside Teague Hill ( lunch in the middle of this loop) -> Return by Skyline tr -> reach Methuselah tree -> final return by Sierra Moreno tr
Our pace: 2.5 -2.8 per mile. Hike's length and elevation gain is based on AllTrails route estimate. Real one can be longer 1-2 miles .
It is good to have >2.5L water, sturdy hiking shoes , layers clothes , and lunch food.
It is not good idea to join the hike if you don't plan to complete full route.
Contact me using private meetup messages or comments in case you have questions. I may help with carpool options.
