Point Reyes Estero, 12 miles, 1350 ft elev.gain

We meet at Drakes Estero Trailhead Point Reyes and repeat the hike that we did in 2023. I know long drive, but it is worth of it. It is one of the most remote area of Point Reyes with absolute unique environment.
It will be primary out and back hike with small loops here and there. It is flat hike with very rare shade areas.
Our route is simple: Estero trail -> Sunset Beach tr ( out and back) -> unnamed rd/trail to Sunshine beach out back ( we may stop couple miles prior to the beach for lunch) -> return by Estero trail
Our pace: 2.5 -2.8 per mile. Hike's length and elevation gain is based on AllTrails route estimate. Real one can be longer .
It is good to have >2.5L water, sturdy hiking shoes , layers clothes , and lunch food.
It is not good idea to join the hike if you don't plan to complete full route.
