Let’s Go to Knoebels!!

Let’s go to Knoebels for their 100th anniversary!!🎢 I have been wanting to do this for so many years now and just saw that they are celebrating their 💯th anniversary!! If you have never been, it’s more than just an amusement park…the food 🥘 is some of the best around, they have shows and music 🎶 too and BEST OF ALL - it is pay 💰 as you go, there is no fee to enter the park!

Since it is a rather long drive, I thought that we could meet for breakfast 🥞 first at Penrose Diner (20th & Penrose in South Philly) about 9:00 am and then we can decide on car pooling (depending on how many are going) and have a convoy 🚗 🚘 🚙 - it's always more fun when traveling together! If anything looks interesting along the way we can feel free to stop before checking into the hotel 🏨 and deciding on dinner 🍲 or take out, maybe chill by the (indoor) pool 🏊‍♀️ or gathering spot. (Check in is at 4pm, but hopefully they can accommodate us at the time we get there). The next day we’ll have the hotel’s free breakfast 🍳 and head to Knoebels until we’ve had enough 🥱 and head back to the hotel to chill again, until bedtime! 🛌 Sunday morning we will leave after an early (free) breakfast to be home before any Father’s day festivities!

Interesting 🤔 fact, they have a ride there called the Black Diamond 💎 that was just like my favorite ride back in the day on Wildwood’s Hunt’s Pier called the “Golden Nugget! Anyone remember it?? Fun ride!

Note, for the lower price, you do need pay for the for one night’s deposit, otherwise it’s more. Also note, this was the least expensive hotel in the area.
