Jordan River PKWY to Black Rock Historic Landmark (GSL Marina)

Details

Black Rock was described in 1870 by travel guide writer Fitz Ludlow as "Grim and ugly, yet part of a charming scene". In 2021 Black Rock was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

We will ride our bikes along bike paths and frontage roads. We will encounter vehicles, but this route is considered low traffic. There will be a resupply area (convenience store) along the way. We will take a generous break for food and snacks at Black Rock and/or State Marina.

The riding pace will be casual. This will be a no drop ride; we will periodically wait and re-group as necessary.
