How to automate decisions and scale-out SME knowledge?

Details
Goldman Sachs’ An Evening with Goldman Sachs Engineering series connects local technology communities with the firm’s engineers, to share latest trends across the tech industry, as well as the culture within which our engineers work.
How to automate decisions and scale-out SME knowledge? | Business Decisions Management by executing DMN models at enterprise scale.
📌 You will learn:
- How to avoid bottlenecks resulting from hard-coding domain knowledge into inflexible systems.
- How to formalize and automate day-to-day decisions, at scale.
The Business Decision Management (BDM) field allows engineers to draw clear borders between rapidly changing business domains and your core system architecture. Similarly, Decision Modelling and Notation (DMN) language helps to implement and automate business decisions. As an open standard, DMN comes with mature language workbench, including editors and execution engines provided by several vendors. This allows the language adopters to reduce vendor lock-in.
Join our Tech Meetup to learn the benefits of adopting BDM/DMN based solutions, and delve into jDMN – Goldman Sachs’ open source Java implementation of DMN.
