We are made up of a group of people (married and single) who love chasing that little 'ole white (orange, yellow, green, blue or pink) ball around. We've even done it in the dark. Being a good golfer is not a prerequisite or a necessity, as we are just about enjoying the game and most importantly being outside. Having fun is a necessity and there is no need to even keep score, unless you want to that is.
Newcomers, seasoned golfers and especially those hackers, are encouraged to come on out to play with us. We try to get to different courses throughout the Twin Cities and Wisconsin. Trying different courses is a lot of fun and in some cases challenging. Whether choosing to play 9 or 18 holes it doesn't matter, as we'll accomodate all to the best of our ability.
Braemar's championship 18 course has just reopened after 2 years of renovation. It's among Golf Digest's Top 75 courses in the country. So, let's give it a test drive on the 4th of July. Cost is $70.50 for 18 holes with riding cart and free range balls to warm up. Since it's a holiday and some will be out of town or have other plans, I'm keeping the group relatively small. I've reserved 4 tee times for up to 16 golfers starting at noon. That's early enough to catch fireworks later.
Deadline to sign up is noon on July 1. If we don't fill the tee times, I'll drop tee times accordingly after that time. So, sign up and let's golf in honor of Independence Day!
There is a $2.00 non-refundable per event fee that you will be prompted to pay when you RSVP. This helps fund the annual costs of maintaining this meetup and if organizers have to cover a round if someone's a no-show.
