Tour de Moab [Oct 2,3,4]

***MAJOR MOAB UPDATE***
No times at Palisades and tournament at Carbon County GC, and only afternoon times available at Monticello and Moab.

Here is the alternative to Palisades. We will meet at Green River State Park Golf Course in Green River UT. [9 hole track] Everyone bring $10 cash and we will play the 1 club challenge. You get 14 clubs including the putter. When you use a club you no longer get to use it and you can only use the putter on the actual green and you don't ever lose the putter. If you get a birdie you can choose what club to bring back from the used clubs.

Farthest Man gets half the pot
Farthest Woman gets half the pot, unless she goes the farthest between the Men and Women in which case she gets the hole pot!

This event is 3 golf courses in 3 days, Green River GC [Green River UT] The Hideout [Monticello] and Moab GC [Moab] This is not only a blast but it can test your golf stamina on top of that.
Tee times will be made closer to the dates and will post the times when they are established.

Obtain lodging accommodations sooner than later. Moab is extremely busy this time of year. Grab a few people and rent a Airbnb, There are also Hotels, and campgrounds. Most people make Moab their base. You can also stay in Price UT Thursday night if you do not want to drive Friday morning to Helper.

The game plan is we play Palisades State Park Late morning which allows time for people who decide to travel that day. After we play Friday we drive to Moab [or wherever you are staying] to beat the rush of people coming back from their daily outings and grab dinner. Saturday we play The Hideout in Monticello UT. Sunday we play Moab and keel over of exhaustion on hole 14 and ask ourselves what the hell are we doing. Then do it all over again next year.

Green River to Moab 1 Hours
Moab to Monticello 50 minutes

Some people make the 4.5hr drive back Sunday after golf or, stay another night and leave Monday morning.
