What we're about

This group is for everyone looking for relaxation and respite from the challenges of day-to-day life. Working primarily with Gongs but also other traditional instruments associated with healing, you will be bathed in sacred sound to facilitate automatic meditation.

The Gongs' rich resonant tones and overtones can help release our minds' wanderings, so that we can be present in the here and now of the sound and be guided on an inner journey of transformation, development, healing and peace.

Our ancestors used sound in many ways, and on some occasions we will be guided by their approaches, ceremonies and rituals, tailored to our modern day needs. Collaborations with other sound practitioners is a key feature of this Group.

My name is David and I'm a qualified Gong Practitioner tutored by Sheila Whittaker at the College of Sound Healing and hold a master's degree in health psychology. I'm interested in sound therapy and Nada Yoga and how these can work alongside contemporary medicine.

I am always happy to support individuals, couples and groups and work with clinical psychologists in their therapy. For further information please visit www.gongtherapeutics.co.uk or email me david@gongtherapeutics.co.uk
