Reset and rest your mind, body, and spirit from the workplace with a 45 minute live online class that will help combat the stresses of a desk job on the body while nourishing you mentally and emotionally. Rooted in classical Hatha yoga and responsive to the impact of the modern world, this supportive class was caringly crafted for those of us who earn a living that comes with a lot of screen time. This is a gentle class that is appropriate for beginners and accessible to yoga practitioners of all levels. There will be 15 minutes after class for a short informational talk on one or more wellness tips, and an opportunity to ask questions.

For the best experience, make sure the space you have to attend class in is clean and uncluttered, and that you will not be interrupted during class. Turn your phone off, put your work items away, and if you have any items of personal spiritual significance, have them in the room with you for support. A potted plant or two in the room can also help create an atmosphere of ease for your at-home practice.

To bring:

1. your yoga mat
2. a chair you use regularly
3. any cushions you may need (for knee support when sitting on the ground, or to place under your knees when lying on the ground)
4. a blanket (the body cools down significantly in the final resting pose).

If you have physical mobility concerns or may need a modification of an asana (posture), please contact me ahead of class.
