EEA Nationals and Employment Rights: Q&A

Details
Are you supporting EEA nationals with their immigration status and employment issues?
Maybe you’re struggling with how to influence employers on this subject?
Stuck with cases and don’t know where to turn next?
Then join us for a Q&A session with Labour Migration Law expert Aké Achi, Founder & Director of Migrants at Work (https://migrant-at-work.webnode.co.uk/about-me) to get your questions answered.
Employers do not understand immigration law or immigration documents and see this as a deterrent to employing migrants. Nonetheless, they are responsible for labour migration control. Many EEA nationals who have the right to work face discrimination and labour exploitation as a result.
Migrants At Work and Refugee Action are organising a Q&A session to address systemic gaps in knowledge at the intersection of migration and labour laws. The aim is to strengthen your capacity to protect EEA nationals' employment rights to prevent them from becoming victims of labour exploitation, or compulsory labour.
To get the most out of this Q&A session, you should have previously attended the course on Employment Law and Immigration with Migrants at Work, or have some basic knowledge of both areas of law.

We will be running the above course again in 2022. See here for details: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/KTJ2P6C
