Welfare Laws and Welfare Reform

Hello Good Talk Club!
We are back after a short hiatus, and there is a lot going on that we could discuss! Let's start this Wednesday July 9th at 7:30pm Mountain Time with the topic of Welfare Laws and Welfare Reform.

- What do you think of welfare programs such as Medicaid, Medicare, and SNAP (food stamps)?
- What do you think of the changes to welfare eligibility and federal funding recently passed as part of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act?
- Do you think these programs should generally be expanded or scaled back?
- What kind of effect do you think such programs have on the deficit, the economy, and citizens' welfare?
- And many other questions!
