What we’re about
"Good Tonic" for body, mind & spirit. From walking, exploring nature, relaxation classes, gentle jogging, bike rides ebike or non powered, travel, camping, pot luck dinners, board/card games and generally getting together and doing a bunch of stuff that makes us feel great, get healthy and energised and support each other.
Sometimes we have topic days for those that are interested where we will explore more deeply eg building resilience, goal setting, grief workshops, learning to relax and handle stress, carers support etc.
The group is primarily catering for those who are 45 years and over but hey if you really want to join and are younger; welcome aboard; no worries.
A small fee of $2 applies and some classes have an additional cost.
I am an ex emergency worker, teacher, carer, and basically a server.
Rules are simple treat each other the same way you would like to be treated. Respect people's privacy and come with an open mind to have some fun. If you can't make it please change your RSVP to reflect that out of curtesy to the group.
