Anniverssary Hike & Lunch in Colares

Hey-hey,

Good Vibes Day Out community started with Vinhos do Colares hike a little bit more than 2 years ago. Just like this, a spontaneous idea and 17 people who joined made a start to dozens if not hundreds of moments of joy and stories to tell.

80+ events and 10+ trips sparked multiple connections and friendships. Each one of you added their colors to this journey that would not be the same without you. We are strong and beautiful in our diversity and openness to discover.

So why not celebrate the community and the journey by doing that same hike - Vinhos de Colares?

🥾 Hike
We will take the same route as 2 years ago - the PR8, starting at HopSin BrewPub. If you have never done this trail before, it is absolutely one of the most beautiful ones in the Sinta area: pine trees, unique vineyards, natural oceanic pool in Azenhas do Mar and stunning cliffs.
The hike is moderately challenging, around 17 km, 400m of elevation gain and 4,5 hours to complete. We will break it into 2 parts by doing lunch in Magoito beach.

🍲 Lunch
To keep our energy and spirits high we will have lunch at a brunch-style restaurant nearby Magoito beach.
Expect some special activities and surprises to celebrate the anniversary and unlock a new chapter

🍻 After-party
After the lunch, we will chill a bit at the beach, if the weather allows, and head to Colares to finish off the day with craft beers at HopSin.

‼️Getting there:

1. If you are coming from Lisbon, you can take a train to Sintra from Rossio or Oriente and share an Uber with other participants (9-11 Euro). Please plan to arrive in Sintra no later than 9:20.
2. If you are coming from Oeiras-Carcavelos-Estoril area, you can take a train to Cascais and share an Uber with other participants from there (around 15 Euro). Please plan to arrive in Cascais no later than 9:10.
   3. Please join the WhatsApp group to coordinate and connect.

• comfortable sports clothes and hiking/ sports shoes;

To confirm your spot the org fee is 10 euro. Please confirm before Friday 1 pm.
