Winter Soltice Community 2023: PRIMUS DAY 4 of 5
Details
Happy Primus!
What is Primus?
This is time that we honor the primary (or first) elements of the natural world. They are: Fire, Earth, Water, and Air.
When is Primus?
Primus starts on December 21st , which is the shortest day of the year (not many hours of sunlight!) and ends on December 25th.
What do we do on Primus?
We light the Lumina and say a meditation for each element. The middle candle represents the energy that is in all life.
Why do we celebrate Primus?
Vibrationalists have a written guide to understanding things we can do to be good people and live a happy life. It is called the Principles of Acceptance and has 12 tenets. (Tenets are ideas)
Principle 10 says that the solar events are important and we should honor them. The four solar events are the Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice, Fall Equinox, and Winter Solstice.
WE ACCEPT that the Rituals are the Water Blessing, Rites of Passage, and observance of four significant solar events as the ordinances of the Center to be observed by Vibrationalists. They are not a means of achievement, but are channels of sanctifying recognition of responsibly to follow God’s law*.- The Rituals, Principal 10 [From the 12 Principals of Acceptance, Vibrationalism)***
While the tenets are written for humans to read, animals and plants understand the tenets too! This is because all living beings are Vibrationalists!! All living beings speak a common language. The language is called “vibrations”. It is the language of everyone and everything!
What is Vibrationalism?
Text and community to help us re-connect with vibrations of the natural world. It is a community of people who wish to keep the Earth and their bodies healthy and close to homeostatic balance.
