Welcome to Good Vybez Meetup, a fun social group for people who want to attend events in Hempstead and make a few friends in the process. It’s always less intimidating to attend events once you know a friendly face will be there awaiting you.
We're all about enjoying good food, music, and cultural activities together, while also fostering creativity, knowledge sharing, and networking. Activities will range from karaoke night, amateur paint nights, Jamaican food and culture events, live reggae and r&b music, tech co-working meetups, ladies night, entrepreneurs meetups, etc. Suggestions are welcome.
The venue that will host us is a family- and women-owned Jamaican restaurant with a bar. Sober guests are welcome.
This is a space for peace and love. We want our group to be inclusive and welcoming of all people regardless of religion, culture, sexuality, etc. Friendly, clean, laid-back people who want to build community and make some friends are invited.
