An Open Research Group

About this Open Research Group

The group meets every Wednesday, usually in Room 4.1, between 11:30 am and 2:00 pm.
Use the entry phone for the Open Research Group meeting.

"Open" means that it is not an expert or academic group.
However, professional and amateur "experts" are also welcome; so any lay-person interested in systematically exploring world-changing ideas and possibilities may find this group stimulating.

The overall context for making useful sense of the myriad details coming into view in life, is "deep time", and evolution of "Life, the Universe and Everything" :-),

In other words, the context of our research is "the big picture" in its various extant versions, from the "big bang" cosmology, through biological evolution of life, to the "we were seeded and are being observed by aliens" variety.

But to make these few lines even more succinct, we could define the purpose of this research as finding the passage to utopia -- the best possible future world.
