Come out for a morning hike at Hacklebarney State Park!

The plan is to hike the Hacklebarney Loop Trail, a roughly 2.1-mile loop through the woods with about 337 feet of elevation gain. The trail is rated moderate, so expect some hills, rocks, roots, and uneven terrain. The pace will be comfortable, with plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and conversation along the way.

Coming on your own is absolutely fine. Everyone will meet at the trailhead for quick introductions before heading out together.

What to bring: Comfortable hiking shoes or boots, water, and whatever else you normally like to carry on a short hike.

Group size: This hike will be kept relatively small so it’s easy to talk and get to know one another along the way.

The exact meeting location and any last-minute details will be sent to everyone who RSVPs before the hike.

Hope to see you there!
