Board Game Night at The Stray

Every other Thursday is open board game night at The Stray! Join us to meet and mingle, snack and sip, and most important: play, learn, and teach board games.

We bring a tableful of rotating games from our personal collection and have a cartful of classics and party games on hand as well. The vibe at this event and venue is usually pretty chill - good people of all kinds playing all kinds of good games. Some people like to stick to their own table and some love to mix and mingle. If you'd like to interact with other gamers beyond a quick "hello" please grab a name tag from the game library table so the hosts and others know you're open to chat and maybe play a game with future friends.

The Stray is the longest-running location of our game nights and we hope you'll join us in supporting them while you're there as a way to say thank you for donating their space to us for over 4 years now. That said, there is no requirement to buy anything to attend, but please be respectful of the space, other patrons and staff, and don't bring in any outside food or drinks.

We typically gather in the area in front of the piano, but feel free to sit anywhere you'd like. if you're having trouble finding us, please ask the staff to point out Eva or Drake so we can say hello, introduce you to others, and make sure you have a table and game to start at.
