First, I apologize for the hiatus. As you can imagine, work must take priority over SCUBA. Life is unfair...
It's time to go back to our favorite shore/wreck dive, the Ohio.
The USS Ohio was a wood hulled navy ship that sank in 1884 while being towed to a scrap yard. She was burned to the waterline so as to not be a hazard to navigation.
The wreck itself is somewhat buried in the sand and consists of some exposed ribbing and planks. Maximum depth will be 20 feet. Like almost all of our shore dives, we'll be diving slack high at 5:30pm. This will get us the most depth and least current.
SMBs are essential, as there is a nearby boat channel.
Parking will be free, public street parking on either Clark St or 4th St.
