Mt Siani evening dive

Happy almost August! We'll be checking out a popular beginner site this week, the Cedar Beach Park fishing pier.

The site is in the very back of the park. If you're not sure if you're there yet, you're not. Keep going! Parking is metered, but fortunately, cards are accepted.

All divers are required to have all equipment at the dive site, including surface marker buoy. We'll be under the pier, and there are rock crevices abounding, so I strongly suggest lights. The water is getting very tolerable, so a dry suit with thinner garments or 3mm wetsuit with gloves is recommended. Those with folical imparement, such as myself, may consider a thin hood as well.

If anyone likes collecting 'artifacts' then this is a good spot for it. Fishing lures, weights, knives, cell phones, sunglasses... the possibilities are endless! Be sure to bring some way of collecting your treasure!!
