Google Cloud offers tremendous versatility and power for processing data in arguably the most accessible manner.
The Google Cloud Data User Group is for anyone interested in sharing ideas, knowledge and practical stories on the usage of Data in GCP. These could be using the platform's native services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, AI Platform, Data Studio, Looker etc or any other data-driven use case deployed on GCP.
We take a unified view of Data Analytics and AI. Broadly we'll be covering the following subjects:
* Machine Learning
* Big Data
* Business Intelligence
* Data warehousing
* Data engineering
* CICD
* Data governance
Whether you're a newbie or a seasoned data aficionado (i.e. Data scientists, Data Engineers, Data Architects, BI developers, Data Analysts, Data leads, Data testing .. etc), come and connect with like-minded individuals.
The idea is to build a community that helps everyone make the most of the exciting possibilities for using data on GCP. And doing it in the most efficient (time-saving!) manner.
We're aiming to hosting the following type of events:
1. PRESENTATIONS
We will invite anyone with learning to share or an interesting story to tell on the use of data on Google Cloud. This could be the latest state-of-the-art release from Google or interesting data use cases developed by data practitioners (in the broadest sense) using any of the data services on Google Cloud.
2. MICRO CLASSES / WORKSHOPS
These will be hands-on (most likely online) classes on teaching particular aspects of using data on Google Cloud. They could range from interesting methods of using native GCP services such as BigQuery to more general but tightly integrated tools such as Python.
