Talk #1: Building Resilient and Scalable Systems with Google Cloud Pub/Sub [Mohamed Tamer Abulazm, Data & Cloud Consultant, happtiq]
In this session, discover how Google Cloud Pub/Sub empowers developers to build scalable, decoupled, and resilient event-driven systems. Through real-world examples, I’ll showcase how Pub/Sub simplifies microservice communication, enables real-time data streaming, and supports asynchronous workflows.
We’ll cover core concepts—publishers, subscribers, topics, and subscriptions—and delve into advanced topics like availability and concurrency. Learn how to leverage Pub/Sub to build distributed Data Analytics Platforms and seamlessly integrate it with Google Cloud services like BigQuery for powerful, scalable solutions.

Talk #2: Implementing Event-Driven Marketing Campaign Management for a SaaS Application [Balram Chavan, Principal Software Engineer & Google Developer Expert]
In this session, I will share my experience implementing a robust event-driven architecture for a "Run Campaign" feature in a logistics SaaS product. This feature enables sales users to create marketing campaigns, select target audiences, and send mass emails efficiently, even at a scale of 10,000 to 50,000 recipients. I will demonstrate how core components like Cloud Functions, Firestore, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Tasks can be used to achieve these results on Google Cloud. This talk will provide a comprehensive view of designing scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.
