"Sometimes you just need to hang in the woods and recharge"

Patuxent River Park-JUG BAY| 16091 Croom Airport Rd. Upper Marlboro, MD
* We will meet in the Patuxent River Park Camp Ground (Site C & D). Make sure you Google Patuxent River Park Campground for directions!

This is just not your regular hike... this hike is focused on relaxing in the woods, in a hammock, during the twilight hour by a campfire.
The Patuxent River Blue Trail is a 4-5 mile trail located in the heart of Patuxent River Park-Jug Bay.
This is a Beginner/Intermediate level trail with flat terrain and rolling hills.
Hike with a rented hammock - $40 (while supplies last)

Hike with your own hammock - $20

* Hike includes reserved campground, hike leaders, campfire with s'mores

** If you are bringing your own hammock, please make sure you have the proper tree straps and not rope. You may also bring your hammock stand.

HAMMOCKS:
You may bring your own hammock or rent one from us for only $20 (while supplies last) and we will assist you with setting it up. During the hang, hikers can relax, nap, read, listen to music or just commune with nature. We ask that if you're listening to music, please bring your headphones! This is your time to experience hammock hanging in nature and we would like for everyone to have a positive and relaxing experience.
If you're bringing your own hammock, please make sure you bring the proper hammock straps and not rope.

HIKE AGENDA:
6:00pm: Hikers will meet at the Patuxent River Park Campground site C & D
6:30pm: Hike Begins
8:00pm: Arrive at hang spot, set up hammocks and relax (we will hang where we start)
9:00pm: Break down hammocks
* If anyone would like to stay later and commune around the fire, we have the site all night.
** There is a restroom at the hang area.
