The Way of the Cross (also called the Stations of the Cross) is a simple and powerful Christian devotion that helps us remember the final journey of Jesus—His suffering, death, and love for all people.
It is made up of a series of moments, called stations, that reflect key events—from when Jesus is condemned to death, to when He carries the cross, falls, meets His mother, and is finally laid in the tomb. At each station, people pause to pray, reflect, and quietly enter into the story.

For a beginner, it’s not about knowing many prayers or doing everything perfectly. It’s about walking with Jesus in your heart—thinking about His sacrifice, His patience in suffering, and His deep love for humanity. You can simply listen, reflect, or offer your own silent prayers.

The Way of the Cross is especially prayed during Lent and on Good Friday. It invites us to slow down, to be present, and to remember that even in suffering, there is hope, healing, and love.
You don’t need experience—just an open heart.
