HashiCorp Boundary for Privileged Access Management

👋 Hello and welcome to the second HashiCorp User Group session in Gothenburg! This time we are co-hosting the event together with the AWS User Group Gothenburg. Are you a fan of both HashiCorp and AWS? Then you do not want to miss out on this session!

This session is hosted by Solidify, your solution provider within Platform Engineering, Modern GRC, and Cloud Adoption and AI.

This time we have the following sessions:

1️⃣ "Culture of Security": Technology don't make you safer, culture does. Learn about how AWS scales to more than ten thousand development teams while maintaining an extremely high bar on security. Presented by Paul Ahlgren Principal Security Strategist at AWS.
2️⃣ Introduction to HashiCorp Boundary: what is privileged access management, what is HashiCorp Boundary, how is it different from traditional approaches to access management, and what problems does it solve? Presented by Robert Gustafsson, Sr. Partner Solutions Engineer at HashiCorp.
3️⃣ Hands-on demonstration of Boundary running on HashiCorp Cloud Platform (HCP) together with self-managed Boundary workers running on AWS. We'll see how we can use Boundary and HCP Vault to provide secure access to AWS resources. Presented by Mattias Fjellström, Cloud Architect and DevOps Engineer at Solidify.

Lighter food and drinks will be provided 🌮 🥗 🥤. There will also be a chance to grab some HashiCorp swag, Terraform and Vault certification vouchers, and AWS credits!

How to find the venue:

Search for "Mässans gata 10" on Google Maps, it will show the correct place of the entrance. The entrance is actually accessed from Skånegatan. Enter the building, take the elevator on the left and go to floor 7. Go to World Trade Center reception. The event is in the room named "Göteborg". Guides will be available to help you :)
