Join us for an open conversation about a gruesome aspect of power: royal assassination. According to a British study, "almost a quarter (22 per cent) of all royal deaths between 600 to 1800 were bloody - accidents, battle deaths and killings - and 15 per cent of all deaths were outright murder, far higher than the homicide rate in the most troubled areas of the world today".
We want to look at how the violent deaths of kings, queens, and heirs reshaped dynasties, ignited wars, and changed the course of entire nations, but with some dark humor and a sip of coffee!

No prior knowledge needed, just curiosity and an interest in the darker corners of history.
