Start Time – Wheel rolling at 10:00 am. Please be on time.

Pace 12-15 on flats. We will ride the hills at our own pace and regroup as needed. No one will be dropped. This is a ride with 1250 feet of climbing so is that isn’t your thing…

Ride leader contact information – Pete Ihrig. Cell 503-201-7757 Texts preferred

We will start in Lake Oswego and almost immediately start climbing up the Tryon Creek Path but instead of taking the path the whole way we will work our way into Dunthorpe and meander through there up to Lewis and Clark college. Next the route takes us down the Riverview Cemetery hill across the Sellwood Bridge and onto the Springwater headed towards Milwaukie and the Trolley Trail. The Trolley Trail takes us to Oregon City where we will cross the Willamette River on the old Oregon City Bridge. Please note when I ride the bridge this direction I take the sidewalk as it is an incline. Once in West Linn we will meander though the neighborhoods in order to stay off Highway 43 as much as possible. This route will take us through Mary S. Young Park and after a brief 1/4 mile on 43 onto Old River Drive which will take us back to Lake Oswego.
After the ride if anyone is interested in having a bite to eat or a coffee the church of St Honore will be open.

Route: Please review the route carefully, and if you're not comfortable with the route or the conditions do not sign up for this ride. Please print out the route or download to your favorite electronic navigation aid.

Mandatory for all riders.
Obey traffic laws and remember you’re a representative of the greater cycling community and should conduct yourself that way on the road. Please represent us well.

All riders must have their rides in good working order and must bring a flat kit & spare tube on all rides. If there is an issue with proper working or lack of equipment you may be asked to sit the ride out. Please ask for help if you are ill equipped prior to the ride. We will try to help!
All riders must be able to change a flat should they have one or have a way to get picked up (AAA, a friend, spam-wagon…). There is often but not always someone on the ride who knows how to help you change your tire so plan accordingly.

Note: Your RSVP signifies that you agree to the following. Organizers, event hosts and other participants will not be held responsible for any individual at any event. Each rider rides at their own risk and is solely responsible for any damage to their equipment or themselves.
Note: RSVP’s cannot include a +1 or Guest. If you choose to bring a friend or family member, they themselves must sign up as a member of Go the Distance.

No earbuds, please.
