Details
Hi, All
What do you say we get high tomorrow, as in riding up a few hills. We'll leave Grand Central Bakery in the Beaumont-Wilshire neighborhood and head to Mt. Tabor. We'll ride up Mt. Tabor twice and then head over to Rocky Butte. We'll ride up the west side and down the north side twice before heading back to Grand Central.
Start Time – Wheel rolling at 11:00 am. Please be on time. If you're running a few minutes late, give me a call (no guarantees I'll get the call)
Route: Twin Peaks double or nothing
Attitude: Zone 2 fast on the flats and let's work those hills. We'll regroup at the top of each climb.
Ride leader contact information – Edward Lanton. Cell is 971-258-6066 or email anquetil@yahoo.com
Route: We'll ride through close in PDX neighborhoods to Salmon St. Then we'll ride up Salmon street to Mt. Tabor for two repeats of the climb. After that we'll head down the north side of Tabor to Rocky Butte. We'll go up the west side and down the east side twice. Then we'll head west on Prescott St. to Alemeda and back to GCB.
Note: This is not a social ride. It's a workout
Mandatory for all riders.
Obey traffic laws and remember you’re a representative of the greater cycling spam community and should conduct yourself that way on the road. Please represent us well.
All riders must have their rides in good working order and must bring a flat kit, spam, & spare tube on all rides. If there is an issue with proper working or lack of equipment you may be asked to sit the ride out. Please ask for help if you are ill equipped prior to the ride. We will try to help!
All riders must be able to change a flat should they have one or have a way to get picked up (AAA, a friend, spam-wagon…). There is often but not always someone on the ride who knows how to help you change your tire so plan accordingly.
Note: Your RSVP signifies that you agree to the following. Organizers, event hosts and other participants will not be held responsible for any individual at any event. Each rider rides at their own risk and is solely responsible for any damage to their equipment or themselves.

No earbuds, please. I want hear the cries of gulls and terns on high.
