Join us for another Gothenburg Serverless meetup, this time hosted by Knightec at their office in Lindholmen. Two sessions covering topics at the intersection of serverless and modern AI-assisted development, followed by networking.
Food and drinks provided. Space is limited, so register early.
Schedule
17:30 - Doors open, food, drinks, and networking
18:00 - Presentations begin
Session 1: Spec-Driven Development for Serverless
Isak Holmdahl, System Developer, Knightec
Spec-Driven Development is seeing a resurgence in the modern software landscape, offering an ideal foundation for projects that leverage coding agents. Unlike the vibe coding approach, where development can drift and depend too heavily on each individual prompt, SDD provides structure, clarity, and intent. This allows teams to guide their agents with purpose while developers remain firmly in control. This talk explores how SDD can be applied effectively to serverless projects, the benefits it brings over traditional prompt-driven coding, and what the future of SDD might hold as agent-assisted development continues to grow.
Session 2: Long-Running Serverless Workflows as Sequential Code
Gunnar Grosch, Developer Relations Engineer and AWS Serverless Hero
If you have built anything non-trivial on Lambda, you know the drill: Step Functions state machines, SQS queues, DynamoDB for state, and a whole lot of glue. Lambda Durable Functions change the model. You write sequential code in a single function, the SDK handles checkpointing and suspension, and compute charges stop while you wait. In this code only session we walk through the checkpoint/replay model, the core primitives, and build a complete AI-powered support ticket workflow in TypeScript with a human in the loop.
Venue
