Straight out of Los Angeles, via KubeCon EU, we've asked Wally Quevedo from Synadia to come to Gothenburg and talk about NATS project, recently included in CNCF.
# Cloud Native Messaging with the NATS project
NATS is an open source high performance messaging system that focuses
on providing a simple and reliable solution for communication among
components of a system. The NATS server can deliver millions of
messages per second, making it a great fit for use cases where low
latency is required using pure publish-subscribe techniques. It also
forms the core element of NATS Streaming which provides a distributed
log to enable message replay and at-least-once delivery semantics.
In this talk, we will cover the background and evolution from the
project from its foundations as part of the control plane of
CloudFoundry, fast forward to the present day as a hosted project by the CNCF.
