How would you describe your sailing experience? At the end of your description include a title for yourself (look at other profiles, or the about page for ideas)

Took the first two RYA courses while in the UK but never had time to do any more. Looking forward to getting serious about it and eventually getting my own. Title: Shipwright

What type boats have you sailed on - or dream of sailing on? What sort of sailing do you do? Cruising, racing, beercans, YRA . . . Transpac??

1-3 person boats were involved in the RYA course. A little racing would be fun but I tend toward endurance/long distance in everything I'm involved in so that will probably be my focus.

If you are a private boat owner -- please describe your vessel in as much detail as you can.

Not yet.

Do you have any US sailing or ASA certificates? Do you bareboat charter?

First two levels of RYA cert. from the UK.

Are you disabled or have limited mobility? You'll be welcomed, but it's very important for skippers to know ahead of time to keep everyone safe while sailing (you included).

Know to struggle with chewing gum and walking at the same time. Don't worry, I'll leave the gum at home.

Introduction

New transplant to the area after just 7 months on Long Island where I found Meetup to be a great way to find things to do. Looking forward to taking on a new area, and staying a little longer! Let me know if you're seeking crew, I need experience!
