How would you describe your sailing experience? At the end of your description include a title for yourself (look at other profiles, or the about page for ideas)

I started sailing when I was 11 years old in a lagoon on St Croix. I've sailed and instructed off and on ever since. A few years ago I was wearing a suit and looking out my office window at a big city. And hating it! Now I just work at getting my sail on!

What type boats have you sailed on - or dream of sailing on? What sort of sailing do you do? Cruising, racing, beercans, YRA . . . Transpac??

I've sailed on all kinds of boats but more wood than plastic. A little racing but mostly I enjoy sailing for life rather than a race. But I do like to make the boat go fast!

If you are a private boat owner -- please describe your vessel in as much detail as you can.

I own a 40ft double ended wooden sloop. Masthead rig with classic lines but under the waterline there is a fairly (1963 design lol) modern fin keel. The 50ft version was the first fin keel boat to win the transpac.

Do you have any US sailing or ASA certificates? Do you bareboat charter?

US Sailing certified instructor, USCG 50ton near coastal master.

Are you disabled or have limited mobility? You'll be welcomed, but it's very important for skippers to know ahead of time to keep everyone safe while sailing (you included).

I'm only limited by personality and bad attitude.

Captain and sailing instructor. Part time bum.
