Love is felt as one of the most real experiences which anyone can have. Yet, at the same time, to love something is personal, sometimes intimate, and always “subjective”. In this salon we will discuss the reality of the objective and subjective—including the reality of each in public and political life. Passages from the Austrian philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein will guide us through both the science and phenomenology of love and other subjective dispositions.
