Kiro is an AI‑native development environment that acts as a context‑aware coding partner, helping you design, implement, and evolve features faster while keeping your codebase consistent and maintainable.
In this hands-on workshop, you will use Kiro’s AI-native development capabilities to rapidly build and evolve a real serverless application while preserving code quality and architectural consistency. Working directly in a realistic codebase, you will practice Vibe Coding for rapid feature implementation, apply Spec‑Driven Development for complex, multi‑file changes, and use Steering to teach Kiro about your code, patterns, and standards so it generates context‑aware solutions. You will also explore Agent Hooks to automate common development workflows and integrate external tools through MCP to extend Kiro’s capabilities beyond the editor. By the end, you will have practical experience collaborating with an AI agent across the full development lifecycle - from understanding an existing application to shipping new features quickly and safely.
