GR Designs Change is an organization that strives to make Grand Rapids a global leader in social innovation. Our mission is to promote and advance the design thinking discipline by providing tools, resources, and engagement opportunities to help empower our members to solve complex problems at home, work, and in the community.
What We Do:
Gather, Learn, & Share
Our meetings are hosted in and around Grand Rapids, and come in a variety of formats designed to be experiential and engaging such as: panel discussions with thought leaders; site visits with community organizations; working sessions; Community Design Challenge updates
These meetings are open to all and a great way to expand your thinking, collaborate with our diverse member base and discover opportunities to apply your talents and help improve our community.
GRDC Community Design Challenges
At GR Designs Change, we are dedicated to supporting our community through our Community Design Challenges. Twice a year, we lead a design research project from early planning and scoping, all the way through prototyping a new product or service. This is a great opportunity to apply our group's talents and learnings to further advance West Michigan.
