ゴスペル練習会 / Gospel Choir Practice

「Grace Gospel Singers」は、ゴスペル音楽が大好きなグループです。日本人も、英語を話す人も参加しています。目的は友達を作り、楽しむことです。(でも、練習すればいい音になれますよ！）。

夏休み、お正月などの休みはありますが、通常、毎月第1、第3日曜日に集まっています。

毎回、ゴスペルの歌を一緒に練習します。耳で聞いて覚えるので、楽譜を読む必要はありません。ハーモニーの歌い方も一緒にまなぶので、初めてでも大丈夫です。

練習の合間に休憩を取り、楽しくおしゃべりしたりします。また、歌っている歌詞の意味について話す時間もあります。ゴスペルは元気で楽しい音楽ですが、その意味もまた美しいものです。

Grace Gospel Singers is a group of Japanese and English speakers who love to sing gospel. We are about making friends and having fun. (But with practice we sound pretty good, too!)

We normally meet on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month, with breaks for summer vacation, Christmas/New Years, etc.

Each meeting we spend time learning a gospel song together. We learn the songs by ear, so you don't have to read music. We will also learn how to sing in harmony together, so it is okay if you are a beginner.

We aways take a break during our practice to relax and talk -- just becoming friends and enjoying each other. And we sometimes talk about what we're singing, what the words actually mean. Gospel music is energetic and fun, but the meaning is also beautiful.
