1. Grafana Cloud Asserts: A Fresh Take on Observability
Speakers: Bryan Boreham & Anne-Laure Froment

If dashboard sprawl and intricate query languages have you feeling overwhelmed, this talk is for you. Bryan will introduce Grafana Cloud Asserts—a tool designed for SREs and developers. With auto-correlation of data, contextual insights, and ready-to-use alerts based on the SAAFE (Saturation, Amend, Anomaly, Failure, and Error) model, it’s set to revolutionize your observability experience.

2. Preventing Reliability Regressions at Meta
Speakers: Anurag Suresh & Miguel Merheb

In this talk, we’ll dive into the systems and best practices Meta employs to safeguard the reliability of thousands of services. Anurag and Miguel will showcase how Meta ensures deployment excellence and service health at scale while exploring the architecture’s potential beyond Meta. Key topics include Service Health and Change Safety, offering valuable insights into how reliability is maintained even in the face of complex challenges.

More about the speakers:

• Anurag Suresh:

Anurag helps ensure Meta's systems reliability as part of the Service Health team, building tools to prevent changes from causing issues and maintaining high availability for billions of users. Before joining Meta, Anurag worked on synthetic data generation at Google Research and contributed to CPU profiling efforts at Arm.

• Miguel Merheb:

Miguel has been at Meta for 9 months as part of the Service Health team in Data Infra, with prior experience as a SWE in a WhatsApp product team, an SRE at Google Cloud, and a Competitive Programming teacher.

• Bryan Boreham

Bryan is a Distinguished Engineer at Grafana Labs, working on highly scalable storage for metrics, logs, traces and profiles. A contributor to many Open Source projects since 1988, Bryan is a member of the Prometheus team and maintainer on the Grafana Mimir project.

• Anne-Laure Froment

Anne-Laure has been with Grafana Labs over 5 years. She was in the support team and built a strong technical knowledge of all of our products. She has recently moved to the Observability Architect team using this knowledge to assist clients in their observability journey.
