Prometheus was released in 2012 and has many great community exporters already written. What happens if a service you use doesn’t have any exporter? Thankfully, it’s pretty easy to get started! In this talk, we’ll step through writing an exporter in Go. Starting with the basics and working through collecting data to export as metrics and visualizing the data with Grafana Cloud.
