Join us for presentations, snacks, and discussion! This time around we have a very diverse agenda of monitoring topics. We'll talk about how to manage a fleet of OpenTelemetry collectors, how to monitor Kubernetes Clusters and ensuring service reliability with synthetic monitoring and web front-end monitoring.

Special thanks to Improving for hosting us at their Liberty Village office and for Confluent for co-hosting again with us.

Agenda:

Talk 1: K8s pop demon hunters! A run through on what's new in Kubernetes monitoring, and what's coming up next - Serena from Grafana
I still feel like I'm pretty new to my team, but I'll be covering on how to do proper Kubernetes Monitoring.

Serena joined kubernetes monitoring almost a year ago as a backend engineer. Before kubernetes, she was a growth engineer in growth and onboarding team in Grafana for about two years. Prior to Grafana, she primarily worked on frontend-leaning full stack roles.

Talk 2: Managing a fleet of OpenTelemetry Collectors - Marko Bachvarovski - Grafana

A talk on how to manage a fleet of OpenTelemetry Collectors at scale, how we do it at Grafana Labs and how you can get started with it. We'll also show how you can export data to Kafka with remotely modifying the configuration.

Marko is a software engineer at Grafana, working on the Fleet Management team, for a little over 3 months now. Before Grafana I worked at local startups here in Toronto, and I studied Physics and Computer Science at the University of Toronto. Today I'd like to talk to you about how Grafana manages telemetry collectors at scale!

Talk 3: Reliability with k6 Studio and Grafana Cloud - Cristiano Ventura - Grafana

This talk shows how you can improve reliability of your user flows with Grafana k6 Studio, Synthetic Monitoring, Frontend Observability and k6.

Cristiano is a Senior Software Engineer at Grafana Labs working on k6 Studio. Before joining Grafana he worked for several companies focusing on Full-Stack development and implementing DevOps practices to optimize performance and streamline workflows.
