What we’re about
This Grafana & Friends meetup group hosts regular events centered on open source monitoring and observability with Grafana and complementary technologies. Some events feature presentations, while some are more laid back and meant to foster group discussion. Either way, there will be snacks and stickers!
We’re always looking for speakers and hosts! Fill out this form (https://grafana-labs.typeform.com/community) and we’ll reach out to you about presenting or hosting. Or, if you're interested in becoming an organizer, let us know here: https://grafana-labs.typeform.com/to/sdthBGek?typeform-source=grafana.com
If you have a technical question, check out our support forums. We also have a community slack workspace where you can connect with the Grafana community on a variety of increasingly specific topics.
All events hosted by this group and communication on this platform are subject to Grafana Labs' Events Code of Conduct: https://grafana.com/events/events-code-of-conduct/

In this talk we'll look at how Grafana can connect to multiple different products and data repositories, giving you a single place to visualize and analyze that data. We'll cover a brief overview of how Grafana works, how it talks to other products, and what options are available for working with your data.Starting with OpenTelemetry - Marylia Gutierrez (Grafana Labs)
Have you heard about OpenTelemetry (OTel), but you don't know what it is or how to use it? This talk introduces OpenTelemetry, a powerful and open-source observability framework. We will explore how OpenTelemetry standardizes the collection of telemetry data—logs, metrics, and traces—across various platforms, cover its core components and have a demo on how to see this data in Grafana.Simplifying performance testing with k6 Studio - Cris Ventura (Grafana Labs)
This talk will showcase k6 Studio, a desktop application that helps you create, run, and analyze performance tests. It provides a user-friendly interface, making load testing more efficient and accessible for developers and QA teams.Warpstream: The kafka abstraction on s3 which powers Mimir cloud - Arjun Nair (Warpstream)
