This interactive workshop follows a simulated household through EDL cuts, generator rationing, and a switch to solar and batteries. Participants join from their phones, vote on decisions, and watch the results in Grafana.
Together, we’ll build a dashboard panel and cost alert, investigate misleading sensor readings, and use metrics, logs, and traces to diagnose a real application failure. The focus is practical: detect problems, understand their causes, and verify recovery.

Attendees will learn to design meaningful dashboards and alerts, distinguish real-world problems from unreliable data, and connect metrics, logs, and traces during an investigation. The workshop addresses a common gap: collecting telemetry is easy; knowing what to investigate and when to act takes practice.
