At Grafana Labs, we have some features that require screenshots of web-pages, to send onwards in emails, Slack, and various other places. We use Chromium for this, but this also means dealing with weekly security releases taking a large amount of our time, and risking attacks from malicious actors. After far, far too many incidents declared, and over 400 CVEs solved in only the past 5 months, we eradicated the problem by trusting less through using more of Linux.
