Join Grafill Grafisk Design in Oslo with designer Ruben Pater, author of books like CAPS LOCK and The Politics of Design, in a discussion on how we can build solidarity in design and move beyond the winner-takes-all mentality.

We were promised that hard work would make us star designers. Instead, we got burnouts and unpaid invoices. Competition was supposed to yield the best design at the best price, but with automation and outsourcing, paid work is hard to find. Cutthroat competition won’t fix this. How can we unite to improve our working conditions?
