Colorado Archaeological Society Monthly Meeting and Free Lecture

Join us for a meet and greet at 6:30 followed by a lecture, entitled Wind, Sand and Ruins: Application of Aerial Archaeology above the Colorado Plateau. This presentation will discuss the highlights of aerial archaeology since the 1930's, as well as examine the result of recently completed archaeological projects in Beef Basin, Canyon of the Ancients and Nine Mile Canyon. Jody Patterson, owner and principal investigator of Montgomery Archaeological Consultants in Moab, Utah, is our guest speaker. Jody has a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks and has worked throughout the American southwest, Great Basin, western Subarctic and Upper Egypt.
