October Meetup - Bitcoin 101

We are changing things up this month!
The Factory will be hosting us for our first Bitcoin 101 event! This will be an evening of our typical social gathering PLUS an additional educational aspect. Drinks will be provided. This month's giveaway will be a copy of The Sovereign Individual.
- 5:00-6:00: Social Meet & Greet
- 6:00-7:00: Bitcoin 101
- 7:00-8:00: Continued Group Discussion or Social
This is a trial to see if the community will benefit from this format. The goal is to offer an educational experience for beginners with an environment that is welcoming to ask questions. We will attempt to offer this every quarter.
If you are interested in learning about Bitcoin, this meetup will be perfect for you. If you already have experience, this is a great opportunity to step up and teach others.
This is a Bitcoin-only event. We welcome everyone but the focus will be on Bitcoin, not "crypto." This is done to keep the educational experience rooted in fundamentals, as well as to prevent confusion, false information, and scams.
