Come celebrate Bitcoin's fourth halving event! The halving happens every 210,000 blocks or about every four years! The supply of bitcoin mined in a block will reduce from 6.25 to 3.125!
This event will be in place of our recurring Social Hour Meetup. If the weather is bad, we plan to meet at Founders Brewery.
The park is big, so it may be difficult to find us, but many will be wearing Bitcoin merch and there should be some small signs set up. We plan on being in/near the pavilions near the playground.
This is a Bitcoin-only event. We welcome everyone but the focus will be on Bitcoin, not "crypto." This is done to keep the educational experience rooted in fundamentals, as well as to prevent confusion, false information, and scams.
