Azure Data Factory is widely used as part of larger data analytics solutions. However, its core competency of moving and transforming data has many useful applications outside of data analytics. You can move your data from a legacy database into a new platform in Azure, compare data stores, and automatically merge data from various sources.

In this demo-focused session, we'll start with a simple but secure method to give ADF access to your internal data and load it into Azure. Moving to a new database platform is an opportunity to re-think your schemas, and may require complex transformations. This can be done with ADF's ability to transform data in data flows. Once the data transformations and loads are complete, ADF can then be used to compare and synchronize the data.
After this session, you will see the value of ADF as a solution for a variety of data integration needs.
